Q: I have questions and not sure if I want to join scouts. What should I do?
A: Please contact our recruiting chair and provide your child’s grade. Our leadership team will help answer any questions. We would also love for you to join us for a meeting and join in activities! Q: What are the costs for cub scouts?
A: Cub Scouts pay an annual fee per calendar year. As of August 1, 2023, BSA National has changed enrollment so it is an annual fee for a full 12 months. Fees will be due every year on your anniversary date. You will begin to receive communication 60 days before your anniversary date . Please see the attached PDF below for more details on costs, what is include and what is not included. If you have any questions, please ask us.
Q: Do I need to buy a uniform?
A: A uniform is an important part of the scout experience. Even with virtual meetings, scouts are wearing uniforms to meetings. There are 2 types of uniforms. The field uniform is the traditional scout uniform and an activity uniform. Details about the field uniform can be found on the BSA website. Our pack has created a summary of what you need, estimated costs and where to buy the items. Please see the PDF below for more details on uniform. The activity uniform is a pack t-shirt is ordered separately and approximately $25. It is a good option for some activities.
