BSA offers a Summertime Activity award to scouts who stay engaged with their scouting unit June - August. As a pack, we have events in June & August. July tends to be vacations and we have several events to keep scouts engaged.
Summertime activities are also a great opportunity to bring friends or others interested in our pack. It is a fun chance to get to know each other and join our amazing adventures.
All items have been added to our Pack Calendar, but this page contents additional details.

This is a great and easy opportunity to do charity work over the summer. Color-A-Smile is a charity organization that collects colored pages to distribute to senior centers, hospitals and troops. Their goal is to share artwork to bring a smile to those in need.
We had prints from Color-A-Smile at the Bridging event. You can also find and print more pages from their website https://colorasmile.org/
For each page that is completed (everything colored in) is 10 minutes of time. We will collect all pages and submit to the organization at the end of July. Charity hours are a requirement for Journey to Excellence (JTE) and we strive to rank Gold again this year.
Scouts, siblings and parents can all color pages. Please turn in all colored pages to Ms. Natasha or Ms. Jennifer by July 31.
We we have a history of meeting at Sulphur Springs School district locations, we want to give back to the school and community. Each year we collect donations for a local organization. For 2023, we are collecting donations for the SSSD Family Resource Center. More information on the Family Resource Center can be found at https://www.sssd.k12.ca.us/Page/2165
We will collect donations of food, toiletries and school supplies for the Family Resource Center. Any small donation helps and everyone's contributions add up to quite a donation. Please donate what you can. Donations can be dropped to Ms. Natasha or Lungren household. We will collect throughout the month of July and take to the resource center in early August. We hope this helps make a difference in the community.
If you have questions, please let us know.
Regular pack meetings will begin in August. Our first pack meeting is scheduled for August 16 at Sulpher Springs MPR. All pack meetings have been added to the calendar on this website. Please stay engaged with your den leader for next den meetings.
Hope everyone has an awesome summer!
